I will not be discovered in America by writing that all beginner stylists have a problem with fine lines because not everyone does, but the vast majority do. The fine line is really difficult to master and unfortunately if you want to be able to succeed in the Nail Art industry, you have to master it. Why? Because no nail art techniques can be achieved without it. Neither One Stroke or Zhostovo (the outline and stems are a fine line), or icons (face contours are the unfortunate line again), or geometric or typically floristic decorations ... unfortunately, you have to use this line technique everywhere. The more subtle it is - the better it is because very often its goal is to give a slight contrast and raise the 3D effect of the design: it should not be immediately obvious.
I know you are really keen to learn how to master nails properly, sometimes it gives you sleepless nights because it seems like it is too much work to take on all at once. This workbook is designed to help you out and provide you with some advanced training skills.
What is the workbook all about? IT IS VERY EASY.
At the beginning, you will find some theory.
Description of the theory :
- Contour functions
- General characteristics of brushes
- Specification of bristle types
- Product selection options
- Workplace preparation
- Basic principles of brushwork
- Brush aftercare work
Then it's time to practice!
I have prepared 110 patterns for you - for independent use and printing. Due to the current global situation, I decided to make this publication available in the form of an EBOOK. Thanks to this, it is significantly cheaper than it would be if it was a printed physical copy. In addition, this way you can buy it without leaving your home. I suggest you print the exercise cards on photo paper or ordinary paper put into plastic wallets.
Back to the designs...
They include geometric patterns, abstract designs, butterflies, flowers, dream catchers, bows, hearts, laces, feathers, dragonfly, birds, wings ... the choice is HUGE! I have arranged them according to the degree of difficulty. Your task is to duplicate the pattern drawn by me and repaint it on plain practice nail tips. If something goes wrong - You can JUST wipe the practise nail tips (with water or a cleaner) and paint again. If you paint directly on paper, then you reach for another sheet. And again ... continue the process!
And why is this workbook so good?
- Because it will help you work on your technique.
I have categorised popular types of Nail Art and mastered them to show you. Patterns are purposely painted in a way which techniques are mixed to create extra thin and moderately thick lines. Only then will you be able to control your brush perfectly when you can visually see something in front of you (i.e. the pattern) which shows you how to create the exact thickness of the lines.
- This workbook is designed to inspire you
If you do not have ideas to create your own patterns, do not force it for the sake of it: just change the colour and angle of the lines used on any of the textbook nails, and your pattern will become unique!
- Thirdly, the compositions of the designs are important
People who take their first steps in the industry (or stylists who love technical designs but are reluctant to decorate) often have problems creating patterns. They don't know where to put a petal, were to add a leaf ... and they are generally lost in the creative process. This tutorial will allow you to follow simple diagrams that you can easily transfer to the client's nails. It's like "copy and paste" :)
- Fourth, these decorations are painted by hand
Not just printed from the internet. Thanks to this, you can see exactly how the brush worked and how the paint was positioned onto the nail. This way it will be easier for you to work and design.
